The Town of Bernalillo, with its rich history and culture, has a long-standing tradition of providing Christmas gifts/goodies to the children of Bernalillo!
This tradition of giving Christmas gifts/goodies to the children of Bernalillo began in 1957 and is still going strong today. The Children’s Christmas Gift Fund has grown over the years, but the concept is still the same; make Christmas a little brighter for children (especially the less fortunate) from Bernalillo. In 2022, Santa Claus handed out Christmas presents to 375 children from over 125 families in Bernalillo.
With the help and generosity of the people of Bernalillo and the many businesses who continue to donate time and resources, the Town is able to have Santa Claus give a present to many children who might not otherwise have a gift to open on Christmas day!
