In the 1960’s and 70’s Mexican-American civil rights activists mobilized their people to struggle for change. The Chicano movement called itself “La Causa” (“The Change”), and was most active in New Mexico, Colorado, Texas and California. Chuy Martinez brings the Music and history alive in the string songs learned in migrant camps and meetings.
