In this two-day workshop, participants will create a handbuilt vessel using plants as decoration.
Age Range: 10+ (under 17 bring an adult)
Registration closes: March 15th
- On day one, we will discuss the characteristics of plants around the Bosque. We will then create slab-built forms, embedding plants onto the surface. Between sessions, the works will be bisque-fired.
- On day two, participants will paint the surface with underglaze and glaze. The works will be glazed and fired and then put into the exhibition “Plants of the Bosque” at the Bernalillo Community Museum. After the exhibition, participants can take them home.
