Workshop 4 of the 4-part Direct Painting Workshop Series. Each workshop can be taken as a stand-alone class or as part of the larger series; register for each workshop separately.
In this workshop, students will transition from controlled indoor setups to outdoor locations around Bernalillo. After a site walk-through covering safety, weather and sun path, the instructor will demonstrate blocking-in large shapes, organizing values, and applying controlled color notes. Participants will paint in the field using their pochade boxes and receive one-on-one coaching, mid-session check-ins, and a final group critique. The workshop is free and all supplies are provided.
