In this workshop, participants will create a garden olla. Garden Ollas are useful in harvesting and distributing rainwater for plants and gardens We will discuss and review examples of garden ollas. Participants will build their garden olla forms using hand-building techniques.
Garden ollas are unglazed and fired at low temperatures so they are porous. Works will be bisque fired and then returned to participants to take home.
The workshop is free, and all materials are provided.
