In this workshop, participants will create a handmade ceramic luminaria using slab techniques.
On day one, participants will create the luminaria, then add designs by carving on the surface of the clay. Luminarias will be bisque-fired between sessions. On day two, participants will paint the luminarias using under glaze and glaze. Luminarias will be fired one final time and returned to participants to take home. The workshop is free, and all supplies are furnished.
