Becoming a museum volunteer is a great way to show your support and ensure that the Bernalillo Community Museum can continue to provide community-based programming for years to come. The museum offers a wide range of volunteer opportunities including:
- Assisting with management of museum collections.
- Helping with specialty programs including the Community Garden, or the Oral Histories Project
- Preparing educational programs and working with school groups.
- Helping with administration, research, and support services.
- Working with local organizations to provide capacity building opportunities.
- Filming and photography, social media, and web projects.
- Some volunteer assignments may require training, which will be provided by museum staff.
