Workshop 3 of the 4-part Direct Painting Workshop Series. Each workshop can be taken as a stand-alone class or as part of the larger series; register for each workshop separately.
In this workshop, participants will learn how to pack and use a pochade box, set up efficiently in the field, and mix colors with a palette knife. The class will also cover limited-palette strategy, value and temperature in light and color theory, and composition drills. Each student will complete and indoor still life painting and receive actionable critique. The workshop is free and all supplies are provided.
