In this two-day workshop, participants will use handmade tile to create a mini-mosaic of a plant from the Bosque.
- On day one, you will design and carve your own clay plant of the Bosque and select its color possibilities.
ALMA apprentices will glaze the plant tiles between classes.
- On day two, you will install and grout your tiles onto a mini mosaic. The final product will be a colorful handmade mini mosaic that will be displayed in the “Plants of the Bosque” exhibition at the Bernalillo Community Museum. Participants can take them home after the exhibition.

-Age Range: 10+ (under 17 bring an adult)
-The classes are free, and all supplies will be provided.
