New Mexico Historic Markers

Phil is a native New Mexican having grown up in a small town called El Rito, in northern New Mexico. His love of the history of his State started at a young age, as did his inventing. To date, he has patented six of his inventions. He wrote and published his first book, Traveling New Mexico, over 20 years ago. He has also co-written several books with his wife, Rosanne Roberts Archuletta, including Women Marked for History, which won the 2015 New Mexico Historic Preservation Award, By the Grace of God – Stories from the American Dream, and New Mexico Historic Marker Roadmaps: Inspiring Stories of Men, Women, and Places.
Rosanne’s love of history began at a very young age. She has co-written several books with her husband, including Women Marked for History, By the Grace of God – Stories from the American Dream, and New Mexico Historic Marker Roadmaps: Inspiring Stories of Men, Women, and Places.
